Refund/Cancellation Policy

The website www.bbfootballschools.com (the 'website') is owned & operated by Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools – grassroots football training program by Talent Invigoration & Sports Management Pvt Ltd. ('we' or 'us').

Talent Invigoration & Sports Management Pvt Ltd is registered at 301, Chawla Complex, Sector 15, Plot No. 38, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai – 400614. For the purpose of this Refund/ Cancellation Policy, the terms 'you' and 'your' shall refer to the user of the website and BBFS' services.

Payments

All payments should be made upon confirmation from the respective ‘Center Coordinator’ – authorized representative for a training center operated by Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools or our Office reachable through number +91-9582008744.

In the case of non-confirmation, please carry the transaction receipt acknowledgment or online transaction details at the training center to confirm the registration or email us at info@bbfootballschools.com for any queries and we will try to respond to you as soon as we can.

Refunds/Cancellation:

Refund of the amount paid for the training program shall be made only in case of the following scenarios:

  1. Change in the venue for training (new venue being outside the 3 KM radius of the existing venue).
  2. Significant change in the timings for training (excluding the change due to weather) which is not suitable to the ward or parent.
  3. Injury to the student – please refer to the adjustment policy.
  4. In case of a holiday/vacation – please refer to the adjustment policy.

A refund of such payment shall be made after deducting the amount for services availed, applicable taxes at time of registration or renewal and processing charges amounting to INR 500/-.

There shall be no provision for cancellation of the training program under any other circumstances apart from those listed above. Non-refundable fee/amount collected for any events/trip/tour etc shall not be refunded under any circumstances unless the event/trip/tour is cancelled by us.

Adjustment Policy

Our adjustment policy shall only adjust classes under the following circumstances (without any exceptions):

  • An Injury and/or illness (doctor's certificate required for both) when emailed during the period of subscription on the following email id: info@bbfootballschools.com along with a copy of the same to the center coordinator.

    We understand that the medical certificate (MC) may take some time – therefore an intimation email during the absence period shall suffice till the MC is received, however it shall only be approved once the scanned copy of the MC is shared on the aforementioned email.

  • Collective adjustments for the period when the ground is unavailable due to annual maintenance, school fest or other events;
  • Due to unavailability of the coaching staff for any particular age group;

    Please note – the adjustment for the aforementioned circumstances shall only be applicable for the active subscription period only. In case the adjustment dates fall outside the active subscription period – then those days shall not be adjusted in the subscription of the student.

BBFS trains with the philosophy wherein the students are required to manage time proactively and therefore, we urge the parents to ensure that they do not miss any training sessions due to exams or during the holiday period.

There will NOT be any adjustment of missed sessions or classes due to exams or vacations taken by a student.

Additionally, BBFS are not liable to compensate for session canceled for any of the following reasons:

(a) Heavy Rainfall or Water Logging: in case the field is not fit for training due to heavy rainfall or due to waterlogging.

(b) Emergency Situations: in case there is an emergency situation such as a rise in pollution, riots, curfew imposition, government-imposed lockdowns, etc. we shall immediately cancel the training sessions in light of security issues.

(c) refund due to events outside our control can be widened by adding 'Force Majeure' which includes the following:

  • Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action.
  • Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war.
  • Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic, pandemic, or another natural disaster
  • Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport, or other means of public or private transport.
  • Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks. The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations, or restrictions of any government.

However, we shall strive to cover the missed classes in the form of additional training sessions within the subscription period (online classes, weekend classes, friendly games, additional training time, etc) only where the circumstances allow us to carry out additional classes without any assurances of the same.

We believe that this policy will ensure continuity and allow the coaches to plan forward, focusing on each child and on the group as a whole. We thank you for your continued trust and support in helping us hone your ward’s football prowess and thus catalyzing his holistic development.

We may, from time to time, make changes to the terms of these policies and all changes shall be posted on the website. Please review these policies regularly to ensure that you are aware of any changes made to the Agreement.

In case of any clarification, the decision by the Management Team of Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools shall be deemed as final. Any dispute arising thereon shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi – India.

Coronavirus Updates: FAQs related to Lockdown or Cancellations

In the present scenario around Covid-19 with the second wave across India – we understand that as parents, you would have certain concerns and queries. We have tried to address most of your concerns in form of FAQs on our policies related to Covid-19 pandemic:

Q1: I have taken a long term subscription with BBFS and our center is yet to reopen since the first lockdown in March 2020. What happens to my subscription and can I request for a refund?

We hope you understand that many BBFS centers are running in schools and other sports complexes which have not reopened since lockdown for various reasons.

Our attempt has been to restart these centers at the earliest but for the time being, we have issued a blanket adjustment in your subscription and it shall only start once the center is open. At this stage, we are not in a position to issue a refund to your subscription; those who opted for online sessions - we have adjusted a part of your subscription to the online training sessions.

Q2: The center has reopened since the lockdown but I would not like to send my ward for training for the foreseeable future. What happens to my subscription and can I request for a refund?

While we do understand your concerns, we would like to assure you that we are taking all measures possible (BBFS covid-19 guidelines) upon the restart of our sessions which was shared with you via your respective center heads and managers at the time of restart.

Still in case you choose to wait further, we completely understand and are happy to give you an indefinite adjustment till you rejoin the program back with us. The policy regarding refunds in such cases remains the same and we shall not be issuing refunds for such cases.

Q3: In case any student or staff acquires the virus, what is the standard BBFS protocol in this regard? Do we get any adjustment or refund?

We believe that it is a collective responsibility for our staff and parents to maintain transparency on the matters associated with acquiring the virus for everyone’s safety. Therefore, all our staff members are required to inform us in case they come in contact with an infected person or show symptoms of acquiring the virus. In case of any of the above, they are required to get tested immediately and isolate themselves till the results are out.

In case the staff member has acquired the virus, we shall remain 100% transparent with the parents and inform the respective batches to undergo self quarantine and get themselves tested in case they show symptoms.

The sessions for the same batch shall be stopped for at least a week (or more if needed) till each staff member and students do not show symptoms in the week post the incident. All sessions cancelled during this period will be adjusted in the form of online classes or additional training sessions as deemed necessary by the center head. There shall be no refunds issued as part of our standard refund policy in this case.

We expect the same level of transparency from our parents and shall follow the same protocol upon discovery.

Q4: Post reopening, there are frequent cancellations due to state government guidelines, do we get any adjustment or refund?

All our training centers have to follow the guidelines as given by the school/sports complex and the respective state government or local authorities. As there is a rise the cases of Covid-19 in many states - many schools and sports complexes are closed for an interim period and we shall keep the parents informed regarding the same through Parent Whatsapp Group*.

All sessions cancelled during this period will be adjusted in the form of online classes or additional training sessions as deemed necessary by the center head. There shall be no refunds issued as part of our standard refund policy in this case.

*in case you are not part of your center parent group - please get in touch with the center head to get yourself (or another guardian) added to these groups as this is the most effective way to share updates and information regarding cancellation or change in schedule.

Q5: I do not intend to send my ward for online sessions (for personal reasons), do we get adjustments in this case?

In case you do not wish to participate in the online training sessions for personal reasons, we completely understand your decision. We shall provide the required adjustment for the sessions missed for the reasons mentioned above (only), however, we would encourage you to give an opportunity for your ward to attend these classes to avoid discontinuity in her training and ensure that she stays connected with her peer group through this digital medium. You may also use the train-at-home feature of our app (enJogo) for regular workouts during such cancellations.
